Umesh Kumar envisioned his own business at a very young age and despite all the challenges he faced on the path to success, he built a solid and thriving organization. After returning to India, he entered the lift industry and founded CREATIVE DEVICES in 2009. The company provided high-quality lifts designed for the elderly, differently-abled and the physically weak, marking Umesh Kumar’s first step as an entrepreneur. From then on, he never looked back, continuing his successful journey with innovations in the lift industry and creating products tailored to the needs of the people, earning a strong reputation across India. His entrepreneurial ventures also provided employment opportunities for many.
To address the need for both home-use and commercial-use lifts and elevator-related equipment under one roof, Dr. Umesh Kumar founded ELEVATOR TRADE CENTER. The concept behind this venture was to save time and money for customers by offering all the necessary equipment under one roof, making operations smoother and more efficient.
After founding Creative Devices and Elevator Trade Centre, Umesh Kumar gained an in-depth understanding of the lift industry. He noticed that many lift entrepreneurs were facing various difficulties and challenges. To resolve these issues, he believed that having an association of lift industry entrepreneurs would help strengthen their position. With like-minded individuals, Umesh Kumar founded the KARNATAKA HYDRAULIC AND ELEVATORS MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION. He is the founding president of the association and continues to serve as its president. The association has already been successful in raising awareness at the government level regarding various issues in the lift industry.
Umesh Kumar’s entrepreneurial achievements extend beyond the lift industry. In Kunigal, Tumkur district, he established the first LPG AUTO GAS CENTRE. Go Gas, the company behind this initiative, has a total of 220 stations across India and the Kunigal station is considered a model station for all other 220 stations.
Another important organization founded by Umesh Kumar is AKSHAYA DEVELOPERS, which focuses on providing affordable plots, farm land and housing construction. Umesh Kumar is actively involved in these ventures, making real estate opportunities more accessible to the public.
